This innovative venture, spearheaded by UNDP Malawi in collaboration with MUBAS, represents a significant stride towards nurturing youthful innovators and propelling Malawi into a future defined by groundbreaking ideas and solutions.





The spirit of collaboration came alive as Liminal Designs, the architectural firm behind the Unipod headed by Architect Catherine Sani, led a team of creative companies, artists and freelancers that included Martin Barsh, Sam Ndalema, Tara Thindwa, Jimmy Malinga, Harry Zerubbabel Nanthambwe. As one of companies at the forefront of this transformative project, a digital transformation company renowned for disrupting traditional paradigms in design and branding. Tasked with infusing the UniPod with a blend of creativity, modernity, and historical resonance, Oasis Brands embarked on a journey to redefine this new innovation space in Malawi.
The cornerstone of Oasis Brands’ contribution lies in the meticulous design and implementation of the UniPod’s physical space. Oasis Brands undertook the responsibility of aiding in the crafting an environment creative conducive to ideation, prototyping, and small-scale manufacturing. From conceptualization to execution, Oasis Brands left no stone unturned in ensuring that every aspect of the UniPod reflected the ethos of innovation.
